Stranger in Mumbai

When I was in Mumbai one day, it was raining so hard and I got lost somewhere on the way to the company, and the song “Stranger in Moscow” by Michael Jackson kept flying through my head. So I told this to my Indian friends and we wanted to reshape the text of the song that it fits to Mumbai, India. Now, one year later, I tried to actually do this. There are just a few sentences different, so if one of you guys knows some more details, I would appreciate to put it into the text. So here it is, “Stranger in Mumbai”.

I was wandering in the rain
Losin’ my way, feelin’ insane
Swift and sudden fall from grace
Sunny days seem far away
palm tree’s shadow belittlin’ me
Raindrops won’t let me be
On and on and on it came
Wish the rain would just let me

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you’re alone
And you’re cold inside

Here abandoned in my fame
Armageddon of the brain
Someone’s callin’ me
Take my name and just let me be
Then a begger boy called my name
Happy days will drown the pain
On and on and on it came
And again, and again, and again…
Take my name and just let me be

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel (How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you’re alone
And you’re cold inside

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel (How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you’re alone
And you’re cold inside

Like stranger in Mumbai
Lord have mercy
Like stranger in Mumbai
Lord have mercy
We’re talkin’ danger
We’re talkin’ danger, baby
Like stranger in Mumbai
We’re talkin’ danger
We’re talkin’ danger, baby
Like stranger in Mumbai
I’m live in lonely
I’m live in lonely, baby
Stranger in Mumbai
